When we discuss our future, we both think about having a successful family owned business, children, and many, many acres of land somewhere south. Christian has great dreams of having a farm full of animals, and an amazing garden that brings fresh food to our kitchen table. I [Tiffany] look forward and dream of having an amazing farm style home just like our favorite HGTV starts, Chip and Joanna have.
Wedding
Our wedding ceremony will be on our eight year anniversary, on Friday June 14, 2019. The ceremony is going to be very small with only our immediate family members present. We are choosing to have an outside ceremony right in our hometown, where our love was first found and grown. The next morning we will be on a plane to Jamaica, where we will read ours vows alone, together.
The following Saturday, June 22, 2019 we will have our “reception” to the wedding where all of our family and friends are invited to celebrate our marriage. We are so excited to have a very relaxed, party atmosphere in comparison to other weddings we have attended. The best part: Christian finally gets to do a pig roast that he has been wanting to do for a long time. Also, a lot guests will be happy to hear that we are going to have bouncy houses! So come on out and have a great time celebrating with us!
Engagement
The day of our engagement started with a breakfast together at home. Then we headed to Chicago, to experience the Bean and massive Christmas Tree. Though it was probably about 20 degrees along the lakeshore, it was an awesome trip for me to take in what our city has to offer. After taking pictures at the Bean and watching as people attempted to ice skate, Christian walked me over to the Christmas Tree. After circling the tree a few times, he then pulled me to the side and asked me to marry him and I, of course, said yes! After this, we then proceeded to the Lincoln Park Zoo and then experienced what fondue eating is like at the Melting Pot. It was by far one of the best days of my life.
Dating
Though we pretended to be boyfriend and girlfriend when we were only around 5 and 6 years old, we didn’t officially start dating until we were 13 and 15. I [Tiffany] finally got the courage to ask my dad if I were allowed to date Christian, to which he said yes. June 14, 2011 became one of the best days in our lives that will never be forgotten.
Our dating life was made quite simply since we lived across the street from each other, so we never really had to plan when we wanted to hangout, because we were inseparable. We hung out before school, after school, and always texted each other when we were actually apart. We loved to spend time outside by going for long walks to the park down the street where we would talk about everything we wanted in our future.
Our dating life was made quite serious less than a year in, when we got our first turtle (baby) together. Then, it was all uphill from there as we grew our little family together, consisting of many different animals.
Another big moment in our dating life was when Christian gave me a lovely promise ring, signifying his promise to always be with me and love me.
December 17, 2016 was not a big surprise to many. That was the day our relationship had become more than just dating. It was the day Christian decided it was time to take it to the next level.

Where Did You First Meet?
We first met when Christians family moved in right across the street from mine [Tiffany]. Naturally, having children around the same age move in meant more neighborhood friends. Little did we know that playing games like ‘house’ where we played “mommy and daddy” and our little siblings were the children just foreshadowed our bright and amazing future together.
